Dal Niente kicks off the 26-27 Chicago season with a program of new and recent works by Luis Fernando Rizo Salom, Carlos Bandera, Leilehua Lanzilotti, Bernard Rands, Bahar Royaee, and Sofia Jen Ouyang. The program, which ranges from the evocative rhythmic energy of Salom’s Quatre Pantomimes, to the subtle color shifts of Bernard Rands’ In the Receding Mist for chamber ensemble, features the ensemble’s breathtaking ability to perform the most challenging and incisive music of today.
